Top 10 Views!GeoMôn provides a summer programme of guided walks and has information leaflets for numerous points along the coast including Llanddwyn, South Stack, Breakwater Country Park, Cemaes & Llanbadrig, Porth Amlwch, Parys Mountain, Bodafon Mountain & Lligwy Bay, Red Wharf Bay, Penmon, Beaumaris.
If you want to walk the entire coastline, we have a guide book covering the entire 125 miles describing what you will see, every step of the way.
Visit our website, or call in to the visitor centre in Porth Amlwch. A tour along the coastline, recognised as an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB), using the prestigious coastal path allows access to 90% of Anglesey's geological highlights. Anglesey has more than 100 rock types spanning 1,800 million years of Earth history, such is the variety of shapes and types that experts and casual visitors marvel at the magnificent colours and structures visible around the coast of this magic isle.
This geodiversity of the island's underlying rocks has fashioned the diverse flora and fauna that cloak the rocky basement, apart from the outcrops which pierce their way through glacially-deposited till on the low but undulating surface.
